Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services in a hospital setting. You will organize and deliver medically prescribed OT programs and respond to emergencies as needed, with weekdays hours and weekend rotation.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited OT program with active licensure eligibility in Missouri, and hold BLS certification; NBCOT is preferred. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate OT program completion and eligibility for OT licensure in the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy

Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Certifications: Current BLS through the American Heart Association
