Job summary

Mercy seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs. You will support treatment within the scope of state practice, and respond to emergencies as needed.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current license or eligibility, and BLS certification. Weekend rotations may apply; join a caring, collaborative team at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state; may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.
