Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Occupational Therapist with neuro experience to deliver patient-centered OT services.

Graduate of an accredited OT program, current or eligible MO license (temporary license up to 90 days), and BLS certification are required. The role supports emergency preparedness and department growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in neuro rehabilitation or neurology suggests clinical capability.
• Must hold or be eligible for Occupational Therapy license in Missouri, temporary license up to 90 days acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through organized, prescribed OT programs to reach max potential.
• Support department growth by assisting with special projects and coordinating activities.

Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Hours: Mon/Wed 8:30-6PM, Tues/Thurs 7:30-5PM, Fri 8-12PM

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure

Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Experience

Preferred hands‑on Neuro experience.

Certifications

Current BLS.

Other

Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Preferred Certifications

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
