Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our clinical team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal concerns, delivering plan-of-care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year, sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses. California license required; new graduates welcome and encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• California license to practice Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to residents with neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Performs home assessments to support safe discharge.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
