Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. The role works within an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based therapy and ensure safe discharge planning.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $124,800 per year with PRN/on-call duties. A sign-on bonus is available, and benefits include PTO and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and related functions.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per an established plan of care and participates in an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and conducts home assessments when appropriate.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
