Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center in Glendale, CA is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal needs. You will perform tests, develop treatment plans, and work within an interdisciplinary team to support resident recovery and function.

Requirements include a degree in Occupational Therapy and California OT license; one year of clinical experience preferred, new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy completed.
• California OT license required or eligible.
• Clinical experience preferred (1 year) or new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Perform tests and measurements for strength, range of motion, and functional status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and provide direct clinical care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient records and maintain documentation.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
