Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Brunswick, MO is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist (PRN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility. Flexible, as-needed shifts with one-on-one patient care focus. Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help regain independence and quality of life.

Collaborative care with PT, SLP, and physicians is essential. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in OT, a valid state license, and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state OT license.
• Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs.
• Create and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function.
• Support patients in regaining independence and quality of life.
• Conduct thorough OT evaluations and document progress.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with the full care team including PT and SLP.

Position Summary
