Job summary

Holmdel Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated clinical team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to restore daily living and functional abilities.

You will collaborate with physical therapists and physicians, document progress, educate patients and families, and use a range of modalities to support rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NJ state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification (OTR) required or in process

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills
• Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive technology to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes
