Job summary

Patewood Post Acute is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a PRN basis. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver skilled therapy per physician orders.

This role supports independence and quality of life for residents in a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, with flexible scheduling and opportunities across our network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license (OTR) in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services per physician orders.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and team meetings.
• Conduct in-services and staff education as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state practice acts and regulatory standards.
