Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) for full-time work in Simpsonville, SC. You will evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to improve independence and quality of life.

The role emphasizes documentation, timely progress notes, and communication with physicians and staff. Licensure in South Carolina is required; experience in skilled nursing is preferred, and PCC/Casamba familiarity

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OTR) license (in good standing).
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services per physician orders and care goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Conduct staff in-services and training.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and payer regulations.
