Job summary

Sprenger Therapy, the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, seeks an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to evaluate residents and develop personalized treatment plans that restore function and independence.

You will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team, supervise COTA staff as appropriate, and document outcomes to support high-quality care across Ohio and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
• Current OT license or license-eligible.
• New graduates welcome — mentorship provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life.
• Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
• Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable.
• Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
