Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Harrison-Fort Worth area. The OT will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, developing measurable goals and a personalized treatment plan to maximize independence and function.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice.
• Good communication skills with patients, families and staff.
• Capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and function.
• Supervises OT Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice

Good communication skills with patients, families and staff
