Job summary

Nealy Pierce is hiring in Amarillo, TX for an Occupational Therapist role within a large inpatient rehab system. You will work on an interdisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care, with LOS around 22 days and a strong focus on returning patients home.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Open to New Grads and Experienced Therapists
• Inpatient Rehab experience preferred
• Must be detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Serve as a liaison with internal and external customers
• Collaborative, team-building personality style
• Servant leader mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy as part of a large interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, PTAs, and SLPs to deliver patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
• Contribute to discharge planning and return-to-home goals.

About the Position

Come work at the largest inpatient rehab system in the country on a large interdisciplinary team of 5+ Physical Therapists, 5+ Physical Therapy Assistants, 5+ Occupational Therapists, and 2 Speech Language Pathologists. Patients have an average length of stay of around 22 days with a 90% return-to-home rate.
