Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Skilled Nursing Facility teams in the NYC area. You will perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families to improve daily functioning.

The role offers flexible employment options, including Direct Employment with our agency or as an Independent Contractor, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. NYS OT license required to practice in the state.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT license and registration.
• EMR software experience.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, requiring care for various conditions (e.g., TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgery).
• Monitor and document patient progress with EMR software.

Occupational Therapist (OT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Occupational Therapists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
