Flagstar Rehab is hiring Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to join skilled nursing facilities across NYC and Long Island. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapy and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition.

We offer direct employment or as an Independent Contractor with setup assistance for a corporation. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, plus flexible schedules and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OTA license and registration.
• EMR competence.
• State-required medical documentation for work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Valid proof of identity and work authorization.
• Malpractice/liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with OT Supervisor and follow the established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in a SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnoses.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of EMR software.

Now Staffing Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for Rehab Departments throughout NYC and Long Island.

Flagstar Rehab COTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Duties:
