Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Montgomery, NY, seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide PRN rehabilitation services for geriatric patients with complex needs. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and improving mobility and independence.

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, speech and physical therapists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care, using adaptive equipment and education for patients and caregivers.

Competenze

• Must possess a current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in NY.
• Must possess current malpractice insurance and maintain license in good standing.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality care.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

General Job Summary

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) providing PRN (as-needed) rehabilitation services in the Facility.
• Occupational Therapist (OT) is evaluating and treating geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs.
• Occupational Therapist (OT) develops individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, daily living skills, and overall functional independence.
• Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Skilled in adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient/caregiver education.
• Flexible and responsive, providing high-quality care across variable schedules and patient acuity levels

Requirements

• Must possess a current license and registration to practice as a Occupational Therapist, OT in the State of NY.
• Must possess current malpractice insurance, license in good standing
• Dedicated to providing extraordinary compassionate care as a Occupational Therapist, OT
• Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, & passionate about quality care
