EPIC Rehabilitation and Nursing at White Plains is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a PRN/per diem weekend role at our 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. You will plan and implement OT services, participate in discharge planning, supervise assistants, maintain records, and collaborate with families and staff to promote residents’ highest level of well‑being.

Weekend availability is required; vaccination is encouraged but not mandated, and you will join a dedicated

Competenze

• Must possess a current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in NY.
• Must possess current malpractice insurance, license in good standing.
• Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; vaccination based on CDC guidance.

• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate and implement OT programs to support residents’ physical, mental and social well-being.
• Interpret and communicate OT policies and procedures to residents, families and staff as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plan development (MDS), ensuring quality resident care.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as required and maintain treatment records and progress notes.
• Maintain liaison with families and residents to support continuity of care.

• Occupational Therapist, OT is to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Director of Rehabilitation and/or the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times
• Occupational Therapist, OT must possess the ability to plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and implement the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., of the occupational therapy program to help residents obtain/maintain their highest level of physical, mental and social well-being.
• Occupational Therapist, OT will Interpret and/or instruct in physical therapy policies and procedure to personnel, residents, family members, etc. as necessary.
• Occupational Therapist, OT will participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments (MDS), etc. as necessary
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as required.
• Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes as required and maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents

Requirements

• Must possess a current license and registration to practice as a Occupational Therapist, OT in the State of NY.
• Must possess current malpractice insurance, license in good standing
