Job summary

NuRoc Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services at our Laona, Wisconsin facility.

This part-time or PRN opportunity offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, annual performance reviews, and opportunities for professional growth. Candidates must have an OT degree and an active Wisconsin license, plus ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Wisconsin OT license required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents and care team.
• Schedule individual resident therapy with team.
• Provide therapy per plan and ensure documentation and billing.
• Oversee COTA and ensure proper reimbursement practices.

Status: Part-Time PT or PRN opportunities are available

Job Functions

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
