Job summary

Beloit Heath and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and deliver occupational therapy services per applicable standards and as directed by the Administrator. The role focuses on planning, organizing, developing, and directing therapy to ensure high-quality resident care.

Full-time with flexible scheduling or per diem PRN, offering competitive pay and opportunities for professional development within a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• WI OTA licensure (required)
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification (recommended)

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screenings to determine the best intervention for each resident
• Perform treatment plans and follow established goals with supervision from a therapist
• Interpret evaluation findings and communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team members
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per CMS standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients

Job description

Beloit Heath and Rehab is seeking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our partner facility. As a COTA you will be responsible to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Status: Full-Time with flexible scheduling or Per Diem PRN

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short and long term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications
