Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year in Tacoma, WA to support preschool students ages 3–5 in an early learning setting. This in-person role emphasizes developing fine-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills within an IEP framework.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Washington State OT license or eligibility to obtain one; NBCOT certification.
• Experience with preschool-aged children; OSPI fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and reevaluations in school settings.
• Provide individualized and small-group OT services aligned with IEP goals.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and document progress.
• Support fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers for MDT planning.
