Job summary

City View Post Acute in San Francisco, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehab team. We offer full-time, part-time and PRN schedules with a competitive hourly pay of $56–$62 depending on experience.

You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, provide interventions to improve daily living, mobility and independence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. New graduates welcome; mentorship and structured onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

  • Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs, goals, and functional abilities.
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
  • Address cognitive, physical, and functional limitations that impact residents' daily activities.
  • Provide training in adaptive techniques, energy conservation, safety strategies, and use of adaptive equipment.
  • Educate residents and families regarding therapeutic exercises, safety, functional mobility, and strategies for increasing independence.
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge planning.
  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.
  • Maintain a compassionate, professional, and resident-centered approach to care.
