Job summary

City View Post Acute in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN opportunities with a pay rate of $49–$50/hour, DOE, for qualified candidates.

Join an interdisciplinary team and help residents regain independence in a supportive setting. New graduates are welcome and will receive onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support to develop confidence and skills.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility for licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care.
• Positive, collaborative, and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under supervision of an OT based on individualized care plans.
• Assist residents in improving activities of daily living, mobility, strength, coordination and independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to OT and care team.
• Accurately document treatments, progress and functional outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with rehab and nursing teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Build positive relationships with residents to encourage participation and progress toward goals.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents restore function, increase independence, and improve their overall quality of life.
