Job summary

Powerback's Rio Rancho Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to assess, plan, and deliver targeted therapy in a facility setting.

You will design recovery programs, address the whole patient, and collaborate with a rehab team to restore independence and function for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Initial registration from NBCOT.
• Valid, unencumbered OT license as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy to promote recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals as appropriate.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You are a healer and a helper, addressing the whole patient and viewing them as an individual.

Your goal is to design a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence.

You are adaptable to patient needs and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You collaborate with peers, make referrals, and train patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
