Volare Health, LLC in Louisiana seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and implement plans per the physician's orders to improve daily living and independence.

You will collaborate with the center team, participate in discharge planning, ensure accurate documentation and billing, and contribute to a supportive care environment for residents and families in Lake Providence.

Qualifications

• Must hold an OT license as required by the state Board of Occupational Therapy.

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents to the physician's treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning, records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Screens residents for potential benefit from OT intervention.

Qualification

• Occupational Therapists licensure as outlined by the state Board of Occupational Therapy in the practicing state.

Skills And Abilities

• Screens, evaluates, and develops programs for implementation for all patients as needed.
• Develops effective occupational therapy treatment plans and goals to meet each patient's needs.
• Collaborates/communicates effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to attain productivity benchmark.
• Completes documentation/billing timely, and accurately.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
