Job summary

Powerback Rehab in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to help patients regain function in an in-facility setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The OT must hold a valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and deliver occupational therapy.
• Develop recovery plans to restore independence and function.
• Address the whole patient and individual's unique needs.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer when needed to support patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
