Job summary

Powerback Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support Casa Del Sol Care Center in Las Cruces, NM. In this in-facility role, you will assess patients, design recovery plans, and provide occupational therapy to help restore independence.

You will collaborate with a dedicated rehab team, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to a patient-centered care approach committed to improving lives in the community. Referral bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Current, unencumbered OT license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans; deliver occupational therapy.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.
• Collaborate with the care team and refer to specialists as needed.
• Provide patient-centered therapy in facility setting.

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
