Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home evaluations and therapy to clients in Plano, Texas. The OT will develop individualized care plans, deliver interventions for fine motor, sensory processing, and ADLs, and collaborate with families and staff.

Requirements include a Texas OT license, a degree in OT, and a driver’s license. Prior home health experience is a plus; pediatric experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and establish individualized plans of care.
• Provide a wide range of interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/ADLs, and visual-motor integration, with caregiver collaboration.
• Complete documentation to support OT services.
• Measure performance and report in patient records.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
