Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide home-based OT services in Texas. The role involves evaluating patients, creating individualized care plans, and delivering interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs, and visual-motor skills.

Candidates must hold a Texas OT license and have a valid Texas Driver’s License; experience in home care is preferred, pediatric experience is a plus, and candidates pursuing OT education are encouraged

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and establish individualized plans of care.
• Provide a wide range of OT interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs, and visual-motor integration.
• Complete documentation to support OT services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

• Provide a wide range of occupational therapy interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/activities of daily living (ADLs), and visual-motor integration, while consulting with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
