Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists to provide in-home therapy services to pediatric and other patients. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy focusing on ADLs, self-care, and fine motor skills, while coordinating with families and care teams.

The role emphasizes documentation, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development in a supportive home-health setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist.
• Candidates currently pursuing a degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy program are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and establish individualized plans of care.
• Provide interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs, and visual-motor integration, while consulting with staff and caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.

Education

Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

Texas OT license

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Occupational Therapist Role (OT):

• Provide a wide range of occupational therapy interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/activities of daily living (ADLs), and visual-motor integration, while consulting with other staff and the child's caregivers.

• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
