Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services in Texas is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy and support patients in their own homes.

The OT will perform evaluations, establish individualized plans of care, and deliver interventions focusing on ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and visual-motor integration, while coordinating with caregivers and staff. Documentation and ongoing professional development are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and establish individualized plans of care.
• Provide a wide range of occupational therapy interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/ADLs, and visual-motor integration, while consulting with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
