Job summary

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA is seeking Occupational Therapists to join our therapy team. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities in a 270-bed long-term care and 54-bed rehab facility with 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

Join our rehabilitation leadership and provide comprehensive, goal-driven therapy to residents, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Occupational Therapy that AOTA recognizes.
• Must provide current license and/or registration as Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to residents throughout the facility.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Deliver comprehensive treatments using modalities and modify plans as indicated while following precautions.
• Participate in developing and implementing resident assessments and care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life and care plans.

The Occupational Therapist works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy to our residents throughout our facility.
• Occupational Therapists will provide comprehensive treatment plans including long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Occupational Therapists will provide comprehensive treatments to patients utilizing modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated, while adhering to precautions.
• Occupational Therapist will participate in developing and implementation of resident assessments and care plans.
• Occupational Therapist will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Occupational Therapy that AOTA recognizes.
