Job summary

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA is seeking Occupational Therapists to join our therapy team. This role provides therapy to residents across our facility, contributing to quality of life and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Current OT license/registration required.
• Geriatric population experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to residents throughout the facility.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Deliver treatments utilizing modalities and adjust plans as indicated, following precautions.
• Participate in developing and implementing resident assessments and care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life and care plans.

Job description

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is looking for Occupational Therapists to join our wonderful therapy team!

Located in beautiful North Wales, PA, our facility contains 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

Job Type: Full Time, Part time, PRN

The Occupational Therapist works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy to our residents throughout our facility.
• Occupational Therapists will provide comprehensive treatment plans including long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Occupational Therapists will provide comprehensive treatments to patients utilizing modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated, while adhering to precautions.
• Occupational Therapist will participate in developing and implementation of resident assessments and care plans.
• Occupational Therapist will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents\' quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Occupational Therapy that AOTA recognizes.
• Must provide current license and/or registration as Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
