Job summary

Horsham Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. We offer Full Time, Part Time, and PRN opportunities within a facility hosting long-term and short-term residents.

Under the Director of Rehabilitation, you will provide speech-language services, develop comprehensive treatment plans, participate in resident assessments and care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Participate in resident assessments and care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life and address care plans.
• Assist in the ongoing learning and progress of residents’ communication and swallowing skills.

Located in beautifulNorth Wales, PA, our facility contains 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, PRN

The Speech Language Pathologist works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Speech Language Pathologist facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
• Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive treatment plans including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Will participate in developing and implementation of resident assessments and care plans.
• Will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Speech Language Pathologist.
