Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric OT services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for ages 0-21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and an active Texas license; pediatrics and home health experience are preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensory impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise, consult, and instruct the team in OT modalities
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
