Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver clinic-based therapy for pediatric and adolescent clients at the Sugar Land Clinic. The role involves direct 1:1 OT sessions, collaboration with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure high-quality care, and data-driven treatment planning and documentation.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas OT license, with two years of direct service experience preferred and ASD experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting preferred.
• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and target developmental goals.
• Document, prepare/revise, and complete Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records.
• Assess and facilitate patient ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment use, and environmental modifications for ADL performance.
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment.
• Provide 1:1, 30 minute OT sessions.

Job Description

TheOccupational Therapistposition is responsible for the direct implementation of therapy services within a clinic-based environment. This position will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure that each patient in the organization receives quality therapeutic care!

This role will be compensated by session, while supporting pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at our Sugar LandClinic.

• Perform clinical assessment; identifypatient needs and target developmental goals
• Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
• Assess and facilitatethe patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiencyof the treatment
• Demonstration of professional behavior
• Competence with Crisis Intervention
• Facilitateeffective training with parents and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide 1:1, 30 minute OT sessions
