Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is a leading BCBA-owned ABA organization focused on interdisciplinary care for pediatric and adolescent clients. The Occupational Therapist will implement therapy services on-site at our Fort Worth clinic, collaborating with BCBAs, SLPs and families to deliver high-quality care in a 1:1, 30-minute session format.

Qualifications

• TX license as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Two years of direct service experience in a treatment setting is preferred.
• Experience working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred.

Job Description

TheOccupational Therapistposition is responsible for the direct implementation of therapy services within a clinic-based environment. This position will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure that each patient in the organization receives quality therapeutic care!

This role will be compensated by session, and you will be supporting pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at ourFort Worthfacility.

• Perform clinical assessment; identifypatient needs and target developmental goals
• Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
• Assess and facilitatethe patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiencyof the treatment
• Demonstration of professional behavior
• Competence with Crisis Intervention
• Facilitateeffective training with parents and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Service patients within 30 minute, 1:1 OT sessions

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist
