Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility. This full‑time role offers a 13‑week contract with option to extend or a permanent placement, day shifts, and a competitive hourly pay with housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome and will join a supportive team focused on patient independence, ADLs, mobility, and interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• New grads welcome; BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results and fitness for duty within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions.
• Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Focus on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
