Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Cleveland, TN is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehabilitation care to patients per physician referral, in full compliance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Required NBCOT certification upon hire, a BSOT or MSOT degree, active state licensure, CPR certification, and willingness to participate in orientation. New grads are welcome to apply; a $3000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment.

Qualifications

NBCOT certification upon hire is required/preferred; renewal is optional.
Graduates from accredited OT programs (BSOT/MSOT).
Active state licensure and CPR certification must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Follow occupational treatment plans for patients' activities of daily living.
Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals.
Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
Chart timely and accurately.
Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Maintain regular attendance and safety standards.
Communicate and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
