Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct rehab services to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards. Education requirements include NBCOT certification upon hire, BSOT or MSOT, and active state licensure with CPR at hire.

Qualifications

NBCOT certification upon hire.
Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
Current state licensure in good standing.
CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.
New grads welcome; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living).
Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals.
Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
Chart appropriately and timely.
Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
