Job summary

Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life, enabling safe daily activities.

You will assess diverse patient populations, develop treatment plans, conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while documenting in detail and maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited OT degree and CA license or eligibility.
• Active CA OT license required or in process with eligibility.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluations completed within 48 hours of initiation with goals aligned to patient function.
• Provide effective treatment following department guidelines and adjust as needed.
• Educate patients and families using varied teaching methods; document thoroughly.
