Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life through targeted daily activity rehabilitation. You will assess diverse patient groups, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with a broad care team to deliver evidence-based care.

You will document evaluations and progress, educate patients and families, and ensure safety through proper precautions and care partner engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• CA Occupational Therapist License (CA OTL) required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required.
• Fire Safety card within 90 days of start date required.
• New applicants must present documentation of continuing education or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients with diverse diagnoses to establish functional goals.
• Develop and modify treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
• Provide patient/family education and caregiver guidance using teach-back and other methods.
• Follow patient precautions and hand-off guidelines.
