Job summary

Mercy Hospital of Folsom, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence through daily activities. You will assess diverse patients, develop treatment plans, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Documentation will be thorough, and you will provide motivating care to a high volume of patients. Required: accredited OT degree, CA OT license (or eligibility within 6 months), and BLS CPR from AHA; active CA license

Qualifications

• Accredited OT degree and CA license eligibility within 6 months or already licensed in CA.
• Active California OT license required.
• BLS CPR from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and set goals within department protocol.
• Implement and adjust treatments using department guidelines.
• Educate patients and families using various teaching methods.
• Document interventions and outcomes per policy.
• Communicate treatment plans and patient status with the team and MD.
• Delegate to and supervise support staff and students per licensure and standards.
