Dignity Health - French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and daily living skills. You will assess diverse patients, develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations with a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include timely inpatient/outpatient assessments, plan development, patient education, and thorough documentation.

Qualificações

• Must hold a California OT license.
• BLS-CPR certification required (AHA).
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess inpatients within 24 hours of physician referral and outpatient within 30 days.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from referring physicians.
• Explain treatment objectives and methods to patients and families as appropriate.
• Communicate progress and plans with the health team and department manager.
• Participate in in-service training for department and health teams.
• Record evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Collaborate with case manager to secure durable equipment for recovery.
