Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide per diem services in inpatient and outpatient settings at Memorial Hospital in the White Mountains of NH. You will develop and implement skilled OT programs to improve function and promote health, collaborating with a dynamic care team.

Requirements include an AOTA-accredited OT degree, current OT license and BLS, and at least 1 year of hospital or related OT experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Current state OT license and BLS; must obtain within 30 days of start.
  • One year hospital/home/outpatient OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and conduct prescribed occupational therapy programs.

Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient

Summary:
The Occupational Therapist organizes, and conducts prescribed skilled occupational therapy programs through the application of purposeful, goal-directed activity in the treatment of persons whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability or the aging process to achieve the optimum functioning, to prevent disability, and to maintain health. This per diem role will work with both Inpatient and Outpatient populations here at Memorial Hospital located in the beautiful White Mountains of NH. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program required.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Occupational Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  • Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system or outpatient Occupational Therapy department preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part‑time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
