Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care and coordinate therapy programs in our Oklahoma facility. The role emphasizes working within state regulations and advancing departmental initiatives while delivering high-quality care.

Qualified candidates will graduate from an accredited OT program, hold or be eligible for licensure in the hiring state, and maintain current BLS certification. A National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Certifications: Current BLS.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs within the scope of practice and regulations.
• Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
