Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist I to autonomously manage evaluation, intervention, and discharge planning for patients with functional impairments. You will determine plan of care collaboratively with patients and families, implement therapeutic procedures, and coordinate with the medical team to optimize outcomes.

You will supervise OT assistants and rehab staff, manage a defined caseload, and ensure documentation and compliance across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Occupational Therapist License required.
• BLS certification required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Massachusetts license within 3–6 months of hire date for new grads or out-of-state licensed therapists.
• Direct clinical supervision by a licensed OT with notes co-signed until licensure.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients for referral appropriateness, medical history, diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care.
• Collaborate with patient, family, supports and medical team to establish and implement the plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic procedures, teaching, and coordination with other providers to reach goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust plan of care as needed and update discharge plan.
• Supervise certified OT assistants, rehab aides, and practice assistants.
