Job summary

Big Stone Staffing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract across Florida home health sites, with a 35-hour weekly guarantee and Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

You will supervise OT assistants, evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, teach exercises, document progress, and educate families on home programs; housing and licensure support, plus dedicated recruiter assistance, are provided. Travel-friendly onboarding is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy with at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid state OT licensure or currently in an OT educational program.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license; pass a background check on hire.
• Experience in pediatrics outpatient preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state/federal laws.
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, identify impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations.
• Perform administrative tasks including reports and HIPAA documentation.

Position Overview

• Location: Brevard, Orange, and Osceola Counties in Florida
• Setting: Home Health
• Guaranteed Hours: 35-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications
