Job summary

Big Stone Staffing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Montevideo, MN, with a 40-hour weekly guarantee and a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). The setting includes outpatient, home health, and inpatient care, with a split location in Montevideo and Appleton, MN.

• Graduated from an approved OT program with at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Current or pending state OT licensure.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides as allowed by law.
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, identify impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct exercises and provide hands-on techniques for recovery.
• Maintain documentation and patient progress records.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and expectations.
• Perform administrative tasks per HIPAA.

Position Overview

• Location: Montevideo, MN split with Appleton, MN
• Setting: OP; HH; IP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
