Job summary

The Home Health of Western Colorado, a VOANS subsidiary, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve clients in Montrose, CO. This role offers travel to patients’ homes, PRN and Full-Time daytime schedules, and a competitive hourly rate.

Licensed in Colorado, with a qualifying OT degree and at least one year of experience, you will evaluate clients, supervise rehab staff, and coordinate therapy services in a compassionate, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered in Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the AMA Council on Medical Education and Hospitals and the American Occupational Therapy Association or be eligible for certification.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client’s attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.

Pay Range: $46- $52 per hour based on previous work experience.

Schedule: Offering both PRN and Full-Time (M-F daytime hours)

Travel: This position requires travel to our client's homes. Paid Mileage!

What You Bring (Requirements)
