Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado in Montrose, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide home health OT services to clients in their homes. This role requires CO state licensure, a degree in OT, and at least one year of experience.

A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are also required. The position offers both PRN and full-time daytime hours, with travel to client homes and paid mileage.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Colorado with current state licensure.
• Graduate from an OT curriculum and eligible for AOTA certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy as ordered by physician.
• Supervises OT assistants and rehab aides in direct client care.
• Plans coordinates and evaluates OT services, including scheduling and transportation.

Pay Range:

$46- $52 per hour based on previous work experience.

Schedule:

Offering both PRN and Full-Time (M-F daytime hours)

Travel:

This position requires travel to our client‘s homes. Paid Mileage!

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client‘s attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
